The David Sheldrick Foundation is located in Nairobi National Park.  This is where Daphne Sheldrick, the wife of the late David Sheldrick, continues his work raising orphan elephants that have been brought to her for saving from all over the country. 

It is a truly incredible experience seeing how this team of people dedicate their lives to ensuring the survival of these animals and their successful re-introduction into the wild at Tsavo National Park.  In addition to the elephants, Daphne also re-habilitates the odd zebra and rhino that have been orphaned and need caring for.
